Location
Between the eyebrows, at the midpoint of the line connecting the medial ends of the eyebrows
Needling technique
Depth: 0.3-0.5 cun (5-10 mm)
Direction: Oblique downward (towards the nose)
Indications
Sinusitis, nasal congestion, headache, dizziness, insomnia, anxiety, eye strain
Contraindications
Avoid deep needling. Do not needle upward towards the brain. Caution in patients with sinus infection.
