On the upper chest/arm, along the Lung meridian pathway
Needling technique
Depth: 0.5-1 cun (10-20 mm)
Direction: Perpendicular or oblique
Indications
Lung disorders (cough, asthma, chest tightness), throat disorders, upper arm pain
Contraindications
Avoid deep needling on the chest (LU-1, LU-2) - risk of pneumothorax. Caution in pregnancy.
