On the dorsum of the foot, in the depression proximal to the 1st-2nd metatarsal bones
Needling technique
Depth: 0.5-1 cun (10-20 mm)
Direction: Perpendicular or proximal
Indications
Stress, irritability, headache, dizziness, hypertension, menstrual disorders, insomnia, eye pain, costal pain
Contraindications
Avoid in patients with bleeding disorders. Caution in pregnancy (can induce labor).
