Location
Along the Large Intestine meridian pathway on the hand, arm, shoulder, face
Needling technique
Depth: 0.5-1 cun (10-20 mm)
Direction: Perpendicular or oblique
Indications
Headache, facial pain, toothache, nasal congestion, sore throat, shoulder and arm pain, digestive disorders
Contraindications
LI-4 is contraindicated in pregnancy. Avoid on acutely inflamed tissues. Caution in patients with bleeding disorders.
