In the nasolabial groove, at the level of the ala nasi
Needling technique
Depth: 0.3-0.5 cun (5-10 mm)
Direction: Medial towards the nose (do not needle upward)
Indications
Nasal congestion, sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, facial paralysis, loss of smell, nosebleeds
Contraindications
Avoid deep needling. Do not needle upward towards the eye. Caution in patients with facial cellulitis.
