Location
Along the Kidney meridian pathway on the foot, leg, abdomen, chest
Needling technique
Depth: 0.5-1 cun (10-20 mm)
Direction: Perpendicular
Indications
Kidney disorders, low back pain, fatigue, infertility, menstrual disorders, asthma, palpitations
Contraindications
Avoid deep needling on the chest (KI-22 to KI-27). Caution in pregnancy (especially KI-11 to KI-21). Monitor for urinary urgency.
